Supporting the Open Circle Arts Program at the Pavilion

Open Circle Arts - Summer Arts Program in Fairfax!

Sustainable Fairfax welcomes the second season of a summer arts program run through the Pavilion in Fairfax. The program, known as Open Circle Arts is the brainchild of Artist-in-Residence Charlotte Fuller and has been taken on by Jessica Leigh Lebos for 2003.

OCA has collected together artists and teachers in the community to offer a number of different activities at reasonable rates. The purpose of the program is to provide opportunity for creative, inspired citizenship, multi-generational interaction and cultural renewal through a wide variety of visual and performing arts.

The program idea grew out of Charlotte's experience as Fairfax Artist-in Residence as well as through her work with The Campaign for A Healthier Community for Children and the Marin Arts Council. Jessica has many great ideas and hopes to grow the program into a year-round offering.
