A highlight of the afternoon will be a presentation:

"Finding Yourself In the Garden" by Speaker Dave Phelps

Dave describes this mini-class as a “kind of spiritual approach to gardening with a strong emphasis on the science of gardening for therapy and good health, as well as a way to connect with the local ecology and community.”

About the Instructor: Dave Phelps is the Sustainability Manager for Cagwin & Dorward Landscape Contractors.  He studied at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, earning degrees in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. He has taught classes for Marin Master Gardeners, Bay Friendly Coalition, and the Marin Garden Society.
