Tour the Hog Island Oyster Farm located in Marshall, West Marin to learn about innovative aquaculture and gain some understanding of operations and environmental challenges in the sustainable seafood industry. Oysters, clams and mussels are considered keystone species that help to clean support and benefit the environments where they grow. The farm is actively involved in efforts to protect and restore the entire Tomales Bay watershed. The tour will be led by John Finger, co-owner of Hog island.
