Be the change that you want to see in the world!

center-festival-small.jpgAs one of the first groups in Marin to pioneer sustainability, Sustainable Fairfax has a legacy of educating the town council, supporting the community, providing services to the town, and conducting educational events since 1999. Through our work, we’ve come to realize that sustainability is not just an end goal, but also an approach to decision making. Now it’s time to reaffirm our mission and build Sustainable Fairfax in a sustainable way.

The past two years the board has been creating our new model that blends education and community action. Armed with new skills and vision we are committed to do our part in guiding Fairfax toward a sustainable future that benefits our economy, environment and community. Please take some time to explore this site. We look forward to your participation.

We currently need volunteers in many areas and many levels. Please contact us if you are interested. Let us know if you are interested in a board position, committee participation or general volunteering.

Board Officers, Volunteer Projects and Training, Policy wonks, Center Committee, Local Development/Fundraising, Marketing, Community Education, Book keeping, and if you can think of something we have not, please let us know .
